The Afrobeat icon made a stop in Drake’s city while on his “Love, Damini” tour, and ironically, both performers performed on the same day, Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Drake decided to headline the event on August 6 after initially postponing his “Ovo Fest,” which was scheduled to take place on August 1. It’s interesting to note that Lady Gaga, a Grammy-winning pop singer from the United States, also headlined a concert on that day.
The 80,000-person-seat Markham Fairgrounds was the venue for the Burna Boy’s performance, and he entertained his devoted audience with a one-of-a-kind show.
