On April 19th, H&M and Mugler held a cultural event at the Park Avenue Armoury in New York City to celebrate the upcoming release of their highly anticipated collection. The event was attended by prominent members of the Mugler community such as Pamela Anderson, Charli XCX, Chloë Sevigny, Lourdes Leon, and Dominique Jackson, who all sported pieces from the Mugler H&M collection.
Amaarae, one of today’s most respected artists, gave a stunning performance at the event, singing her popular tracks “SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY” with Kali Uchis and Moliy, “Reckless & Sweet,” “Disguise,” and even an unreleased track. Amaarae is also one of the faces of Mugler’s new campaign, along with Shygirl and Eartheater, who performed alongside her at the event.
The three musicians, who all wore unique pieces from the collection, performed together during the event, including a new version of the classic 1990s club hit “Music Sounds Better With You,” created in honor of the Mugler H&M line.
This event marks the start of a monumental year for Amaarae, which will include the release of her highly anticipated new album, Fountain Baby. She has already gained a worldwide following, gained critical acclaim, and produced a viral hit with her song “SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY” with Moliy and Kali Uchis, which set a new record upon its release.
