Highly decorated Colombia singer Shakira and Gerard Pique, a Barcelona defender, have announced their divorce after 11 years of marriage.
In a joint statement made on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, the couple officially announced the status of their divorce. They have requested the public to respect their privacy as it relates to their decision, according to reports from the statement released.

Shakira and Pique started dating in 2010 and have two kids together namely; Milan and Sasha, both nine years of age.
