The organization declared that the competition, which was scheduled to be held in June 2023 and hosted by Ivory Coast, will now take place in January/February 2024. After a meeting of the committee members was conducted in Rabat, Morocco, sources state that the reason for the date change was the weather in Cote d’Ivoire in June.
