Willian spent a year with the North London club before leaving the Gunners at the conclusion of the summer 2021 transfer season. In his hometown of Brazil, the 34-year-old moved to Corinthians, but hasn’t been happy there on or off the field.
On Thursday, August 11, 2022, Sky Sports News posted a confirmation of the news on their official Twitter account. Willian reportedly ended his relationship with Corinthians and is considering a move to Fulham Football Club, a freshly promoted team.
He has begun discussions with the London club’s management and will aim to conclude the transfer before the transfer window closes. According to reports, the Brazilian club’s fans racially harassed the former Chelsea player, making the location uncomfortable for his family.
