Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract renewal has been officially announced by AC Milan Football Club.
On Monday, July 18, 2022, AC Milan made the formal announcement on their website. Ibrahimovic signed a one-year contract that will keep him with the San-Siro club through the summer of 2023, according to reports from the club.
Ibrahimovic is anticipated to be sidelined for the remainder of the year due to a knee ligament problem. When the damage was disclosed, the athlete made a startling admission: he played football for six months while his left knee’s ACL was absent.
Despite the injury, he managed to score eight goals in 23 league appearances last season.
As AC Milan won its first Scudetto championship since 2011, the 41-year-old also contributed.
